another week begins...

well, i don't really have much to post about today...but i'm going to write something because i'm kinda tired of seeing my whining in the previous post. :)

weekend was good. went out to a lovely dinner on friday night with stephen. saturday and sunday were both spent primarily outside. did some hiking, running, and yard work. steve left ~5am this morning for new york. yuck!! i'll be looking forward to seeing him on thursday night. he'll make it back just as i'm getting out of the theater from Episode III.

the cardinals are playing well...so that makes me happy. i need to get my butt to a game sometime soon!!

oh, i did get a ticket this weekend from an officer who claimed i rolled through a stop sign...should i fight it, or just pay it and get it over with??

ugh. Who has the time to fight the little things? Don't sweat it. Just pay it and move on. Just my opinion.

Was it St. Louis county? Those were the bastards that gave me that ticket about my license plate, and from what I've heard, it doesn't surprise me it happened on a weekend. Sunday morning they were all over the Interstate. I find it so interesting that they always say they patrol the highways for our safety. Funny, you sure don't see them much during rush hour, but wait until the weekend. I guess Sunday morning when the roads are clear and open it is much more dangerous and they need to be out protecting us! Pig manure! It's all about revenue! Taxation at gunpoint!

Fight it! If the judge finds in your favor request that you be allowed to put him out of his misery by shoving his radar gun so far up his rectum that he sets off a radar detector everytime he opens his mouth!

Cops that only serve the public interest by writing tickets disgust me!!! While you ran that stop sign how many people were stabbed, shot, raped, abducted, abused, or were otherwise a victim of some sort of crime?

I say pay it!! takes too much of your time to go through the process of fighting it. in the long run paying it will save some headaches.

btw. Star Wars was incredible. i saw it last night. you will love it i am sure.

*sigh* the worst part is that you can't do anything with the ticket until 15 working days after it was issued. it's amazing that any of these things get paid.

As a PhD from many cycles of traffic school, I'd just take the ticket and move on. Chances are they'll be another more worthy time to argue out of a ticket. :)

15 days? Yup, sounds like St. Louis County. Was it? They probably have to take the extra time to secure the donuts. Pigs ... Don't do a thing for society and it's illegal to shoot them! HAHA
