...in the quest for improving my financial and physical health i have made a few changes in life...
1. shredded all my credit cards and have successfully paid off 1 of them. yay!! a good start.
2. bought suze orman's money book for the YFB's. she's awesome and her advice is actually something i can see myself being able to adhere to. she breaks it down into reasonable chunks to work on. check it out: www.suzeorman.com
3. adhered to work-out schedule. i think i have missed one weight session...but other than that have been keeping with the intense workouts daily. monday i actually biked at castlewood state park instead of cardio at the gym. it was so nice to break up the mundane routine.
4. signed up for a 5K. now i'm definitely not saying that i can run one now--but in 6 weeks i hope to be back here posting that i was successful. :) i have a friend at work that is going to help me train. she runs marathons...i bow down to her running ability. my goal is to finish without having walked at all. here's the website for my big debut: http://runtobreathe.com
...i'm going to be busy...

I love Suze Orman!
Best of luck on getting everything in tact.... I'll start on that once I pay off my losses on the car!
Congrats on being so committed to being healthy! That's awesome. You're going to get hooked after doing your first 5K.
I got the Suze Oreman book and it's been pretty interesting so far. I think I'll probably be reading Jimmy Buffett's book, "A Salty Piece Of Land" on my train ride to Chicago though. I'll let you know how it is. Probably more entertaining than Suze. BTW - I've seen Suze on TV and she's very annoying. She's kind of like Sean Hannity. I can take a little dose of TV and Radio, but both are better in print.
